SIP Connection & other ways for calls

SIP Connection (SIP Trunking) allows voice calls made through the Internet, which is a very cost-saving way for dialing long distance calls, compared with PSTN number mapping. By using SIP Connection to call, the quality can be directly controlled and stability is well maintained. It is because failover solutions can be implemented in SIP Connection. Upgrading traditional PBX phone system to SIP Connection can also enable enterprises to expand their telephone lines/users with ease and less costly, as they do not need to set up additional infrastructures. Besides basic SIP connection, we also offer:

• VPN (Virtual Private Network) : As the name implies, VPN means extended private network constructed to transmit data from a private network to another private network in a secured tunnel through public network. When someone would like to obtains these data, they have to pass the identification requirement set by the VPN builder, e.g. passwords and tokens. In such a way, data transmitted are securely protected and calling detail will not easily be seized by a third party.
• IPSec (Internet Protocol Security) : The service provider usually set an IPSec session between hosts on the Internet, which is also recognized as virtual private network. IPSec can provide just authentication and integrity protection, or confidentiality and authentication. For exchanging significant traffic, IPSec will be launched between hosts or gateways. Clients’ calling details and their clients’ privacy can therefore be kept safe.
• GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) : GRE is a tunnelling protocol making it encapsulate a wide variety of network layer protocols over an Internet Protocol and redirect them to a destination that de-encapsulates them. GRE connects between different network nodes, forming virtual point-to-point connection to each other as well as a private and secure path for transmitting voice data.
• IPSec over GRE (Internet Protocol Security over Generic Routing Encapsulation) : In IPSec over GRE, the GRE tunnel is established over the Internet and the IPsec is in charge of getting the encryption job done. GRE functions as what it is mentioned above. With a double-layer protection, data security is more enhanced.
