Caller Line Identification (CLI) means the calling number display that callees can see on their phone whenever there is an incoming call. Usually, people do not tend to pick up calls with overseas or unfamiliar numbers for fear that they will be charged with expensive toll or they are nuisance calls. This may lower the call pick up rate drastically and hinder enterprises to contact their clients through IDD from overseas.
